Join us on Feb 14th for an informative evening with our Rep. Lily Morgan (HD3) along with Amanda Metzler, President of Farms Inc.

We’ll hear about current Cannabis Legislation that will affect us here in Josephine County. The HB3000 Task Force on Illegal Cannabis (which Rep. Morgan was a co-sponsor) published its recommendations at the end of 2022. Out of those recommendations three bills have been introduced in the 2023 Oregon Legislature. These three bills address money for law enforcement, holding the property owner accountable for the cleanup after illegal cannabis production, and a hemp product registration to prevent intoxicating hemp products getting into the hands of children.

These bills are HB3048, SB326, and HB3049 respectively.  We will have a Q&A opportunity to discuss this legislation along with bills Rep. Morgan has sponsored.
