Two weekends ago a couple of us attended the Oregon ACLU conference in Salem. The conference was informative and energizing. We also learned about a suit filed by our state’s ACLU to force the federal prison in Sheridan to allow attorney access to the 121 immigrants being held there by ICE.
But here’s the great news I wanted to share with my fellow Dems: Prior to the Trump presidency, the Oregon ACLU had 7,700 members. It now has 52,000. Wow!
