Happy inauguration week!
We hope you’ve taken some time to revel in just how much we accomplished, and how much more is possible having won the house, the senate and the presidency.
Wednesday’s historical inaugural events were amazing to witness. The deconstruction of democracy that occurred over the past four years, the domestic terrorist attack on our nation’s capital, and the swearing in of our 46th President, occurring just two weeks after the attack, will be written about in the future history books American children will study. We lived through it all, and we have survived, in part due to the incredible efforts of activists locally and across the nation who helped inform voters and get them to the polls.
However, with that said, we also know our work isn’t over and there is still much to be done.
Please join us at our January Zoom Social, where we will chat about our experiences, and brainstorm on how to prioritize the Josephine County Democratic Party’s efforts for the upcoming year.
All Precinct Committee, Executive Committee and Neighborhood Leaders are encouraged to attend.
